- Bus panel: Tap a bus to see which way it's heading, its next three stops and when it was last seen. View Full Route draws the route in the bus's own direction.
- Destination labels: When you zoom in, buses show where they're heading, with a symbol for loop routes. Johor buses that haven't reported for 10 minutes fade, and disappear after 2 hours.
- Both directions of a route: A route shows both directions, the other one in grey, with numbered stops and arrows along the line. Switch between One direction and Both directions.
- Help: The new Help button explains the map, its labels and colours.
Changelog
Development history and feature updates
- Shuttle Tebrau and Shuttle Selatan on the map: Live trains between JB Sentral and Woodlands, and on the Shuttle Selatan lines, each labelled with where it's going.
- KTM tab in Departures: The next trains at each station, with the train number, Hybrid Komuter connections and KTMB's official timetables.
- "Tomorrow": After the last bus of the day, the next departure is labelled Tomorrow instead of a count like "1395 min".
- The right timetable for the day: Bas Muafakat Johor, Causeway Link and Shuttle Tebrau times now follow their calendars, including holidays and the date a timetable ends.
- Official timetables and route details: Each route links to its operator's timetable (with a check before you leave the site) and to its stops in Route Explorer.
- Johor buses: BAS.MY and Bas Muafakat Johor buses now show their direction from their trip, or from their position and movement, instead of guessing. Bas Muafakat Johor buses now appear on the live map.
- Singapore buses: A bus that ends its trip early shows its real last stop, and loop services are labelled as loops.
- Arrivals: A bus's destination is shown only when it's known, and arrivals use the bus's own position.
- Route Explorer: Tap a stop to see when this route's next buses arrive there. Bas Muafakat Johor routes without published stops show the official route map.
- Stop Explorer: Live times are coloured: green on time, red late, brown early.
- Fare Calculator: Each operator's own fares: Bas Muafakat Johor is free for Malaysians, Shuttle Tebrau is RM5 (S$5 from Woodlands, RM5 for Malaysians), and student and senior fares are shown.
- Help on each page: Departures, Route Explorer and Stop Explorer have a ? button with a short guide.
- Tables and safer replies: Replies can include tables, and nothing in a reply can run code or link to an unsafe page.
- Stop means stop: Stop and New Chat now end the reply on the server too. If you send too many messages, a note says how long to wait.
- Your own key: Switch between Free and Own key. The key is checked against the provider you pick, stays in this tab only, and Clear Key removes it.
- Links in a language: Add ?lang= to a link (for example ?lang=ms) to open a page in that language. Text not yet translated shows in English.
- Installed app: A new icon for phones that crop icons to a circle, and shortcuts to the Journey Planner, Departures and Stop Explorer.
- Support: SG-JB Transit stays free, with no ads. The homepage now has a Buy me a matcha latte card.
- Faster: Stop timetables load much faster (JB Sentral from 0.4 s to 15 ms), and the Johor live feed stops waiting quickly when its source is slow.
- Fixes: Journey share links work again, border wait estimates use Malaysia and Singapore time, and pages that don't exist show a proper Not Found.
- Ready for the iPhone and Android app: The server can now give the app its settings, link files, offline route timetables and journey plans for a chosen time.
